Dr. Gladys Boo is the only Veterinary Ophthalmologist in Singapore to achieve diplomate status with the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (ACVO). The ACVO is the professional organisation that oversees the accreditation of Veterinary Ophthalmologists and is globally recognised as the leading standard in the field. To be granted a diplomate of the ACVO, a veterinarian must complete an ACVO residency, and pass all sections of the rigorous ACVO qualifying board exam. There are only 500 ACVO diplomates in the world.
